Personality: Bulan is a no-nonsense workaholic. Disenchanted with anyone/anything that interrupts her work and quite apathetic when it comes to things she doesn't have to take care of, she often comes off as cold and venomous. She is, to an extent, and is perpetually blank emotionally. As stiff and official as the rain goddess may be, she has a kind side. Her hobby of making weather dolls is just as focused and perfectionist as her work, but when she has a surplus of them piling up among her things she goes to hand them out to children. This is one of the few times she smiles, as her default face tends to scare them off.

Bulan does enjoy a grateful, "Thank you" for her work, especially if there's a 'Ma'am' or '-sama' in there somewhere. The cold kami doesn't so much socialize as strike up conversation to learn something, and she refuses to ask for help except in dire situations. Even then she'll probably insist she's got it covered. She's not moody or angry, and avoids showing any emotion other than mild annoyance or confidence. Bulan also tends to keep from speaking when more than one other person is in discussion, to avoid having to speak up, repeat herself or be drowned out.
Manage to surprise her or come up with a gift she likes and you'll see the flustered  third side of the stoic rain goddess. When she doesn't know what to do or say she freezes with a poker face, or if she can't manage it a shocked look. She's really processing it to come up with a cool reaction, so don't worry if she's silent and still for a long moment.

Extra Notes:
In her human form, Bulan's hair turns black and her eyes are dark green, to blend more naturally with humans. Despite liking dark colors she prefers her white hair, so it's better if one doesn't say anything about it.
She wears red lipstick all the time to stress that she's an adult and should be taken seriously.
Her name comes from the Indonesian for moon 'Bulan' and a Chinese word meaning rain 'Yu.'
Bulan hates putting on kimono and securing layers. If she thought people would take her seriously she'd wear a tanktop and cargo shorts in her human disguise. As it is she finds herself increasingly out of place in her traditional Asian garb, but prefers it to being mistaken for someone who doesn't know what she's doing.
The blue marks under her eyes don't appear in her human disguise, but she wears a string of blue beads in their stead.
The smell of cabbage, especially boiled, makes her sick. If you bring her cabbage of any kind you will regret it.
The white-haired kami carries a paper fan that she uses to move rain clouds around, but she tends to misplace it when she disguises as a human.
